Daring To Dream

Well, crap. When I said that personal blogs don’t get as much traffic as others, I guess I wasn’t kidding. Zero views for Daring To Dream? Seriously?

Not that Coup Review was top dog, but I at least had an average of 13 views daily, even when I didn’t post anything. (Not the case anymore, now that I’m focusing my attention on this baby.)

Translator

I’ve always had a thing for foreign languages. Seriously, they’re like music to me. I also like puzzles, and I’ve heard translating being compared to puzzle-solving many times. I already know some laymens Japanese, and someday, I hope to be fluent in both Japanese and Russian.

Well, I hope to be fluent in a lot more languages, but I think it’s smart to focus on a few at first.

Watch/clock-maker/repairer

Because I’m really into the kind of work that can be seen as fun, as well. I wanna just get into it as a hobby, but it’d be sweet if I can make some income off of it, too.

How cool would it be to able to offer your services if your friend just mentioned they had to get their watch fixed? Or to just be able to say “I fixed this” or “I made this”?

Mangaka / doujinshi koujin circle person or whatever

Basically, a comic book artist. In “Japanese-style” art.

I really see myself doing this since I’ve always been both a writer and a drawer. And you need to be good at both to be a good mangaka. Plus, I just like how it includes both writing and drawing. Go figure, right?

Voice Actor

Hey, I can act. I just fail at body language and facial expressions. So wouldn’t voice-acting be a great job for me? And, I want the whole package of voice-overing. Not just acting. Commercials, audiobooks, adult recordings, I’ll do ‘em all!

My main objective for this dream to one day be casted in an official Lupin the 3rd production!

(If I reach my dream of being fluent in Japanese, I can try out my luck in the Land of the Rising Sun, too! AWRIGHT.)

Ah…I like playing pretend. So…I like dressing up! I wanna be able to go from blonde valley girl to crazy-haired goth boy. I dunno; the clothes I wear sometimes have this big effect on my mood and personality…. This probably sounds like I’m uber-insecure with myself, but someday, I’d like to have enough clothes to be whoever whenever.

Height-Weight Proportionate

THE GRAND DREAM.

Being weight-height proportionate would be extremely beneficial. Because the world is judgmental on looks, it’d be much easier to get jobs or form alliances with people in the fields I want. Also, if I had to be carried out of a dangerous situation because I’d broken my legs, my carrier wouldn’t have to risk their life as much in order to get big ol’ me outta there.

(Oh, yeah. And I’d be healthy. That, too.)
