I forgot to mention in the last post how I got an email containing !!!SUPERSECRET!!! BACKGROUND INFO on the project regarding my being casted as Rana.
…Okay, so not totally !!!SUPERSECRET!!!; it was all just extra tidbits on where Rana’s coming from to help me understand her more XD.

Apparently, she’s the eldest of three kids. But because her father was hoping on a male first born (excited for an heir), he has neglected to show much love for Rana from childhood and on. She has a resentment built towards him, as he does to her, so the relationship between them is very touchy, but somewhat under wraps.

Actually, the copy they sent me was a lot better written and explained things a lot more clearly, but I dunno if I’m allowed to disclose such !!!SUPERSECRET!!! info to you….

And I’m glad they sent this to me; it’s definitely endeared Rana to me, as “the neglected sibling” is a role that will always strike a certain chord with me. I feel bad for Rana. So I’m even more driven to do my best and represent her character to its fullest.
Doing “my best” won’t be good enough. I have to do the depth of this character justice, as well as keep up with the other talents apart of this production.
It’s so exciting being able to be apart of this. It’s gonna be epic. Can’t you feel it? It’s gonna be great.
