Charkole! Not in MY house!

Art class is definitely opening me up to different art ‘tools’ or however the hell an artist would refer to them. Right now, we’re doing charkole. Or black pastel. Or something. Whatever it is, I SUCK AT IT!

I think I just about drew the suckiest thing EVER on Tuesday night.

Human Light-Meters

Which is what my art teacher wants us to become XD. So our focus has been on this project where we’re drawing in cubism, in black ‘n’ white, and shading everything all crazy like with no rules. Funny how many people seem to not know what to do with no boundries.

A lot of the better artists in the class were rendered helpless and had to ask for assistance many times. And—not that I’m one of those ‘better artists’—even I had to ask the teacher to shade a few things in to show me how its done.

But this event is big cuz I hardly ever ask for help (cuz I’m bad at talking) and he’s never helped me before (though, I don’t quite know the reason for that; he’s helped everyone at least once).

So Many Ideas = So Much Work

But that’s the way the river flows, right? And not like I’m complaining, anyway. When you find something you like to do, it’s the kind of work that feels…really good.
